Founded to support Michigan's makers
We celebrate good living in the Great Lakes State
It's been more than two decades since downtown Lansing had a Michigan-themed gift shop. Our founders wanted
to fix that. While they were at it, they recognized the surge
of success in Michigan's food and beverage industries.
So they added a restaurant and bar.
Planning a new business in a post-pandemic downtown setting might seem crazy. Or, it might remind you
of stubborn settlers whose descendants made Michigan
an industrial and agricultural powerhouse
that is still treasured for its natural assets.
We are fifth and sixth generation Michiganders and
proud to live and work here. We thought the capital city
and its 10M annual visitors deserved
a special destination that celebrates the state.
So we stirred up a business model that throws in a lot of ideas. We sell to consumers, but we also have
a business-to-business mission. We work hard
for Michigan entrepreneurs of all sizes.
We like to think we share each other's success.
